Oops.
It's that "L" word again. I want to know what you take us for. I ask, because the moment you feel that the ship ain't sailing your way, you just turn it onto us. Go on baby. Make me that basin into which you masturbate all that frustrated, thin sperm you ejaculate. Bathe me in it for all I care.
But sweetheart, listen up. And listen close.
May be I'm just gathering it all in a place. My secret storage locker. The place where my anger abides. Or whatever you choose to call it.
One day, may be-just may be, it will snap. I will snap. And I will be spilling it all over you. Into that worm infested, lying, conniving mouth of yours.
And I will time it. The minutes you take to choke on it and die.
You know honey, It's true what Bukowsky says:

"Once a woman turns against you, forget it. they can love you, then something turns in them. They can watch you dying in a gutter, run over by a car, and they will spit on you."

JUMP TO FREEDOM

I could finally feel the breeze brushing past me. After a month long humid temperature I could breathe with ease and freedom. My soul was unleashed. Indeed, it was. I was taking long breaths, for tonight is the night. It was not the scarlet fluid with micro-organisms running through my veins any more. But a scarlet declaration bubbling to burst out, for this slumber infested land needed to be shaken up with dazzling brilliancy. I fear it might be seen just as a twinkle but, later, I could have faded in regrets like a dead star.
I see flickering lights in the window of the house right in front of me. Probably it is a television. The house next to this one has open dark rooms which are ominously silent. The house next to mine has high walls, but not higher than ours. My balcony is notorious enough to let me have a perspective view with quick peeks here and there. I always hated these walls and thought that these can stand strong only till I let them. So, I grabbed a sledge hammer and hit it with all my might; but the hammer that forged me in what I am bounced back. I abhorred these walls even more now. They were blocking the sunlight and the cool breeze from entering my varandha. What good is dancing in the rain alone? I had never seen a rainbow. If I would move forth they will move too. If I would stand still, they, too, will remain unmoved. Once, I kicked the wall bare foot and hurt myself. I was tied to these walls the moment I was cut off the umbilical cord. After years of contemplation and plotting I concluded that these walls will never leave me, for I did not know how to climb to the top. I was not taught the trick of climbing. I realized that these walls will go where I go. They used to breathe with me. Suddenly, one day, horrific screams started to pierce through them, screams of yelp from those neighbours who were devoid of  me.
I were to lose my cool someday, and this was it, followed by a calm and relaxed lull. I were to laugh, jump, and sleep to peace, for peace. My soul was unleashed. Indeed, it was. I was taking long breaths, for tonight is the night. So, I laughed to the walls, ran in maddening strides, and jumped off the balcony to sleep for my freed spirit. That night, the scarlet red added a darker shade to the night, only to shine brighter the next morning in dazzling brilliance.

Murmurings.

No.

We are not peculiar. We delve too deep. Think too much, fall too passionately.
There is no grey in us. We sight only black and white. And that is not peculiar.
We are impulsive. We know what we want. We might hold back, but there are also times we go get what we want.

We love deeply, give unthinkingly, and forgive immeasurably.
But we have our breaking point. Once we get there, there is no turning back.
We will simply pick up the broken pieces, paste them together and walk on by.

We do make bad choices. We do cry for things lost or for what could have been. We feel too much for things we could have done some other way, but we won’t retrace our steps and pick up the pieces of a jigsaw that can never be completed.

And slowly, ever so slowly, we learn to laugh again. Right from the heart.
And we hope, once more, for better days and things to come.
We are the womenkind.

No matter how hard you try to pull us down, we will always be there, climbing back up.
Or in the peripheries, walking on.

And no matter what, we always, always survive.

Butterflies, Fireflies, Bheja fry

(Life of a Silent Stalker) *Oh I really hate chicks in micro minis, extra thick liners, heels sharper than my tongue and i-am-so-huge-to-overshadow-rest-of-the-butts attitude of a blue whale. *Look at that creep in black as if bathed in the valley where dead rest. Her eye brow arch is so curvy as if dead dark souls go on a roller coaster ride on them, and that smirk, looks like she had a living cat for dinner. *Sure he was born with those rippling mass of steroids, and poses as if he spread wide to give them birth. Lot of labor pains I suppose. Show off douche! *Alrighty! Look at the dude with a DSLR like God put his piece of heart in his hands. I doubt if he can even expand the abbreviation. Does he think of himself as the Creator of 2D shit? “LET THERE BE A CLICK” *Trains of selfie! Sure this world was created to look and admire at her almost 100 selfies which basically look the same. Wow! You look so different in today’s batch. When did you grow that tail? So pink and fluffy. *I was waiting for him to upload the pictures of food he had today. Such rare occurrence with respect to human beings. He must have born to relish people’s palates with his plate. What a tease! *Thereeeeeeeeeeeee we go! 1097 filters and a long poetic caption whose each word and every filter screams how hot I am. Such a beauty that even nature looks back at the mighty mountains, fatal rivers, and mysterious forests; and sobs,” goddamn competition”. *Look at the knight standing at the cliff, thinks of him as Bear Grylls, unfortunately looks like Shaktiman in that pose on vacation. Soooooo hot! -Bra Rider

I Choose to Love You in Silence.

I loved you in silence.
You were right there in front of me, they said, "What the heck," but I still loved you.
I tried to to get around knowing you, I tried to, but I stepped back.
There were so many scars from the place I came from,
Too many demons,
Too many broken hearts,
Too many lies I had lived.
So I loved, I still do, in silence.

I could not put myself on the line again.
I had failed so many times before,
I don't know if I could risk the same again.
I am a woman, the less regarded,
I din't know if loving was something I did,
Or if they would see it as love,
Or if you would see it as love.

I love you in silence, even today.
Because I'm too full of cowardice,
too full of self doubt,
too full of denial,
too full of, "What will they think."
Unlike you, there is so much I need to think,
So much I need to delve into,
Before I fell in love.

But today I say what someone said
A long time back.
"I chose to love you in silence."
Because then I have no fear of losing you.
And in silence, I have no recriminations,
In silence, you are nobody else's, but Mine.

Friday, 13 June 2014

I woke up at 4. My body ached, demanded that I climb back into bed, for a precious half an hour                        more.
I thrust it aside, made my way sloppily to the bathroom, and then to the kitchen.
I made breakfast.
I packed tiffins.
I made lunch.
They languidly make their way about.
Then while they are busy, I busy myself.
I iron their clothes, and polish their shoes.
While they dress, I bathe.
Then we sit for breakfast.
And we leave for work.

I am Mrs. X. Sharma.
